The Endless Render
This render took days. I’m not sure why, but the final render was almost 80 hours.
It certainly doesn’t look it, and I probably could have let it render a few more days to get rid of some of the graininess.
As I’ve mentioned previously, this environment sucked. This render was always going to take a long time, just because of the size of the image, but I suspect the lighting of this awful environment also dramatically increased the render time.
Teamwork is Cool
One of the things I love about the Claremont era is how the X-Men are constantly combing their powers in cool and different ways. This has fallen off in the decades since his run, but some of the initial combos, such as Wolverine and Colossus’s Fastball Special, have become staples.
One of the main things I wanted to test with this issue was how I could visualize different power sets in DAZ 3D. From that idea, and with the plot revolving around teamwork, having Meteor and Shield use their powers together to try to take out Vamos only made sense.
