Manipulation via delegation is probably more effective if you don't tell your subordinates specifically that they are being delegated... at. you know what I mean.

#1, Meteor should have ORDERED Hawk to trank them.
#2, Hawk should immediately be disciplined for insubordination upon return to base.
Like the man said, you gotta own it! He could even let Shield beat the shit out of him.

>>#1, Meteor should have ORDERED Hawk to trank them.

Probably. As we saw on the last page, asking Hawk to do something doesn’t seem to work, at least if Meteor is the one doing the asking.

>>#2, Hawk should immediately be disciplined for insubordination upon return to base.

I don’t think going back to base is an option.

>>He could even let Shield beat the shit out of him.

That last panel made me laugh!

Derringer was/is right and Meteror took the opportunity :)
(So Derringer achieved something Simon didn't)

This is getting better and better, the dynamics be tween these guys really played out well here :)

("I have a hunch" (<- sorry) that Meteor is so... not-great... at commanding because of his subconscious... "baggage". I'm absolutely avoiding to mention Shield's, er, "baggage".)

Edit: Even after the third time of reading the page the last panel makes me burst out giggling :D Thank you for making my day :D

Before starting this comic, I spent a fair amount of time developing a character bible and figuring out what makes everyone tick.

It’s nice to see it paying off. I hope.🤞
