Some others I read do an irregular "schedule", too, but if you rather want regular, there's a way to get it: A buffer of at least 2 pages. Disadvantage: You get the reactions late.

I had a buffer of almost six pages back in April, but since then the the forces of real life have made working on this comic damn near impossible.

Ah, then declaring irregular updates would also be best for the peace of mind :)
